We travelled from Bengaluru to Dehradun. It was early morning 06:25 AM flight and we were on-time at airport. The excitement level was high for all of us, as for some trekkers it was the first trek and for others it was the first snow trek or winter trek.
It was 09:25 AM, we landed at Dehradun airport. We made our way to OYO 14945 Hotel UK - 07 near Rajpur road, Dehradun. Approx. 35 KM away from airport. The hotel rooms were not that great, but the terrace garden had beautiful view and good restaurant, the food was awesome. Had different varieties of North Indian parathas (Aloo, gobi and paneer) after a long time, and the taste was superb.
After afternoon nap, went to nearby shopping mall, for some small items to buy. Like snacks, and energy bars. We made it back to our room for the night after a nice dinner at hotel restaurant and fell asleep right away as we had an early start the next morning to Sankri, from Dehradun railway station at 06:30 AM.
