After taking it all in, the beautiful 3 days of trekking, it was the last day of the trek. Mixed emotions altogether, heart said, not to leave this majestic place, but mind wanted to go, and catch up the regular routine. Breakfast was ready by 08:00 AM. Had delicious hot paratha and sabji (potato curry), packed our luggage and it was 2-3 hours descend to Sankri. It was suggested by guides to wear the leg gaiters because of slippery muddy roads expecting, on the way back to Sankri.

We were half way almost back to Sankri, and all sudden started raining. Stopped at tea point, which was the last refreshment point back to Sankri. Most of trekkers covered themselves with poncho and rain coat. We are very close to the village, but the track further was very much scary due to rain, the muddy-slippery steps.

After all struggling steps, we were back to Sankri. It was around 11:30 AM local time, when reached at hotel. Some trekkers left for Dehradun on the same day. We bid adeau to each other. Our rooms were ready. Once we got the keys, time to freshen up and we had lunch after wards. Finally, transitioned from sleeping bag to bedding, after 3 nights. 5:00 PM, wake up call, to have snacks and time to prepare send-off party with all fellow trekkers. Our instructors congratulated us on completing our trek successfully and handed over the "Certificate of Achievement". We all had great time sharing stories and talking about our future trekking plans. Done with our last day, dinner, after party and retired to bed for a calm peaceful sleep, as next day morning, we have our schedule to depart for Dehradun.

One of the memorable day and an evening well spent doing after party. Everyone was so relaxed and stress free, the so called hot water for bathing was a blessing after the muddy trek. And the satisfaction of we completing the summit was an icing on the cake to celebrate and party hard.... Truely a blessed day.
